Respectful, science-driven hoofcare for all equines

Services I offer

  • The bottom of a hoof with a fresh barefoot trim

    Barefoot trimming

A correct trim allows the horse’s natural biomechanics to function and promotes the development of a healthy, robust hoof.

  • A horse's left front hoof viewed from the bottom. A shoe has been nailed to the foot with 6 copper nails.

    Shoeing

For additional protection, traction, and/or support. Shoes are selected, shaped, and applied to suit your horse’s individual needs.

  • A trainer with a young foal working on handling skills

    Hoof handling practice sessions

Relationship-based horsemanship techniques build your animal’s confidence around having their feet handled. I also share exercises and activities so you can continue the work in between sessions.
